Beamline Component Materials

The tables below are the material composition stack ups of several beam line components. Materials are listed in each table in a sequence, from upstream to downstream, with information on their compositions, thicknesses, and densities.

The vacuum window and QC1 ion chamber will be upstream of any test article for the vast majority of beamline configurations. That said, the beam energy loss through those materials before ions reach a test article will have already been measured and accounted for in the quoted beam energy.
