SMES Quarterly Reports – Ramesh Gupta

Below are the quarterly progress report on the R&D for the design, construction, and testing of a 25 T, 100 mm HTS R&D solenoid by Superconducting Magnet Division at BNL (Link to Final Summary Report (August 14, 2014):

SMES R&D at the BNL Superconducting magnet division (and at the Advanced Energy Materials Group, Condensing Matter Physics and Material Sciences Division, reports not included above) was supported in part by the DOE Advanced Research Program Agency-Energy via a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement that Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL) has with ABB, Inc. and in part by the Brookhaven Science Associates, LLC (BSA) under Contract DE-SC0012704 with the U.S. Department of Energy. Time period limitation for holding the release of reports has now expired. Other partners were SuperPower, Inc. and University of Houston.
